BRAZOS VALLEY MAGAZINE is a weekly community and public affairs program produced and hosted each week by Dr. Sharon Colson. As a four- or five-segment talk show, viewers are introduced to "Who's Who" and "What's New" in the Brazos Valley. Guests often include authors or entertainers, researchers or inventors, and may include information on upcoming events, the arts, exhibits, and travel opportunities. Special reporters, Cynthia Sampson with "Issues in Education" and Brenda Bridges with "Animal Advocate", are featured monthly. Seasonal cooking and decorating segments are also produced from the KAMU kitchen. Viewers enjoy people, places, and things from across the Brazos Valley each week as we connect communities!

BRAZOS VALLEY MAGAZINE is the latest in a series of public and community outreach programs that Dr. Colson has produced and hosted on this station during her career. Regular specials during the year include "Meet the Candidates," a forum for candidates in contested political races in both the spring and the fall, as well as an awards show for the winners of the B/CS Holiday Parade, an event that KAMU co-sponsors.
